I have been to unicorn about 4 or 5 times now as it is right across the street from where my brother works. This is a REALLY great place. We have always been able to get a table no matter how crowded it is and the food it delicious. I have to recommend the Tzao Chio (I know I miss spelled that) Rolls. One of the best things I have ever tried and we once ordered a second batch for dessert. I also LOVE the Carrot Soup which they serve nice and HOT (I hate when restaurants serve luke warm soup and have sent some back to be reheated). It always hits the spot. I wish they offered a larger portion because I would get it ever time, I swear if it wasn't so crowded there I would lick the bowl. A really great place in the heart of down town.

While attending a delightful celebration dinner with new friends, it was my good fortune to sample this restaurant for the first time. The appetizers were varied and delicious (I could have made a meal of these alone, they were so good!). I ordered the Giant Sea Scallops in Coconut and Wasabi Sauce with Black Coconut Rice on the side and am still fantasizing about the tastes. The slight sting to the Wasabi was absolutely fine for a non-spicy eater like me, the scallops were tender and flavorful, the sauce was the perfect complement to the scallops, and the Black Coconut Rice was heavenly (a subtle burst of coconut flavor at first bite which then mellows out). Although we were seated at the front of the restaurant, we were behind a partition, and felt comfortably encapsulated. I will definitely be back!

I have been to Unicorn many times for lunch, dinner as well as group events and have never been disappointed. Unicorn's food is consistently fresh and flavorful and I have never found the service to be anything less than exceptional. Unicorn's owner, Kit is very hands on making sure everything runs smoothly and is to the customers satisfaction which is nice to see. Just last night my husband and I took a friend here for dinner for the first time and she was amazed at this hidden gem in the Financial District. She ordered the Salmon Creek Pork Chop which was generously sized and perfectly seasoned. My husband had the Rib Eye steak with the most amazing side of Seared Rice Cake I've ever tasted. If you want nice ambiance, delicious food and a location with easy parking after 6 pm, then Unicorn is the place for you.

I really like this place. First time I tried this place was with a group of work people. The service was great: fast and pleasant. The food was delicious and arrived in a timely manner. The decor is simple, I really like the ceiling area by the bar.

I've been here a few times now and I usually order one of the following:

- Cubed Filet Mignon with Blue Lake Green Bean - Australian Lamb Chop with Lacquered Tamarind and Blue Lake Green Bean - Jasmine Rice baked in a Claypot with Chicken, Prawns, Scallop and Vegetables

The appetizers are really yummy too, my faves are the spring rolls - all five of them.

If you work around the area, it's a must try. I would also head over here for dinner too.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?! This food should be illegal. I work in this area a lot so I started frequenting it month or so ago.. SO DAMN GOOD! My favorite restaurant, period. I mean internationally. I've owned my own restaurant, ate at the best places from here to W. Europe. My grandparents grew and served their own beef. The owner here doesn't mess around with quality of meat. All grass fed, like the "Salmon Creek" meats. My favorites are the 5 spice duck appetizer roll-thing (?), for the main it's all about either the fillet, pork chop or my new favorite is the lamb chop! Yep, I've been here at least 10 times in the last month. I drink too much of their organic IPA while there, so I come home and pass out, sorry for the delay in writing... :-)
